Devotional Sermon #10: PROVE THEM WRONG - Short devotional messages for women

"Philip found Nathanael and told him, 'We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote - Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.' 'Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?' Nathanael asked. 'Come and see,' said Philip." - John 1  Verses  45-46 (NIV) Inspiring portion of the Bible!  Nathanael thought nothing good could come out of Nazareth. Similarly, people might have the perception that nothing good can come out of you, your family, your neighborhood, your workplace, your city, your country, even your church! Prove them wrong!  "These people are wrong. By the grace of God, I am the first good thing to come out of this neighborhood and I am imparting this goodness to all in my sphere of influence!" you should declare. Remember, goodness comes from living the Word. Proceed to: Doing the will of God   Click here for Christian books every Christian should read Motivational

Devotional Sermon #9: YOU ARE SAVED (BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR RELATIVES?) - Short devotionals for women

"Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, 'We have found the Messiah' (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus." - John 1  Verses  40-42 (NIV) If you are saved, you obviously are glad that you've passed from darkness to light, from death to life. You wouldn't want to abandon the way of the Lord because you know what it means to be saved. You also know what it means to be unsaved. If you are saved, I give praise to God for you.  But what about your parents, siblings, and other relatives? They probably look down on you for worshiping God. Some may even hate you for it. But it doesn't matter; you know better - you are your brother's keeper, nonetheless! The Bible says the first thing that Andrew did after hearing John speak about Jesus was to find his brother, Simon, not only to tell him

Devotional Sermon #8: LEAD PEOPLE TO SALVATION - Short powerful sermons online free

"The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, 'Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'" - John 1 Verse 29 (NIV) How instructive! I trust that you know how important Christ is to a person's life. I also trust that you know that those without Christ have no hope in the world. Ephesians 2:12 paints a grim picture of the lives of the unsaved. So, you and I have a duty ... to point such people towards Christ and to do so without delay.  Like John, we should always shout, and excitedly so, "Look, the Lamb of God!" I trust God that if we did, many would definitely look and be saved.  The small sermons that I post on this blog are an attempt to get others to stop whatever they are doing and find time to look toward the Lamb of God. "Look, the Lamb of God!" May this be a worldwide chorus, in the name of Jesus! Click here for Christian books every Christian should read   [$0.99] Good Christian

Devotional Sermon #7: MAKE STRAIGHT PATHS FOR THE LORD - Short sermons for today

John (the Baptist) replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the desert, 'Make straight the way for the Lord." - John 1  Verse  23 (NIV) Make straight the way for the Lord. This is a personal instruction that each of us needs to take seriously. Note: it is only through the Word of God that one can make straight the way for the Lord.   You should therefore study the Word diligently. You need to learn from others; but be sure to study the Word for yourself and get to confirm whatever you learn from people.  The Lord wants to work mightily in and through you. Have you made the way straight for Him to be able to do so? Align yourself to the will of God; that's the only thing that makes people's lives truly valuable in this world.
