Short Sermon #7: MAKE STRAIGHT PATHS FOR THE LORD - Short sermons for today

John (the Baptist) replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the desert, 'Make straight the way for the Lord." - John 1 Verse 23 (NIV)

Make straight the way for the Lord. This is a personal instruction that each of us needs to take seriously.

Note: it is only through the Word of God that one can make straight the way for the Lord. You should therefore study the Word diligently. You need to learn from others; but be sure to study the Word for yourself and get to confirm whatever you learn from people.

The Lord wants to work mightily in and through you. Have you made the way straight for Him to be able to do so?

Align yourself to the will of God; that's the only thing that makes people's lives truly valuable in this world.
