“What I am anxious to see in Christian believers is a beautiful paradox. I want to see in them the joy of finding God while at the same time they are blessedly pursuing Him. I want to see in them the great joy of having God yet always wanting Him.” A. W. Tozer

Sermon #3: The Power of the True Light

"The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:5 (NIV)

That's the power of the light. That's the power of the Word. That's the power of the Holy Ghost. I am referring to a specific light, the one that comes from the life of Christ.

Christians are the light of the world, so the Bible teaches. We should appreciate this. Christians should therefore always shine in a manner that will confound darkness. However, if any Christian is not conscious of this status, to which they have been called, then they will always be overwhelmed by the devil.

It also calls for a proper walk with God and an ever-increasing understanding of His Word.
