"How can I please God?" "How can I please Him more?" "Am I pleasing Him at all?"
Any Christian whose heart burns for the deep things of God, who yearns for wholesome fellowship with Him, always asks themselves these questions.
I have asked myself the same question several times. I have always sought for THE formula for a proper fellowship with the Father...and I have found it! I have always known about 'the formula', but it had not come to my heart the way it has done now.
I will give you the formula right away. You can use it within two minutes from now; how exciting! You could be in top-notch fellowship with the Father immediately...and your life will completely change forever!
The formula to the best ever fellowship with the Father is "walking in love." Gracious Lord!
"How can I walk in love? What does 'walking in love' really mean, in practical terms?" you could be asking yourself...and you ask because your intention is to walk in love.
The first step to walking in love is to be born again, i.e. to love the Lord (if you are not born again, please visit your local Christian church and the pastors there will guide you on this).
Once you are born again, you should let the following verses guide your interactions with the Lord and with everybody else within your sphere of contact: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." - 1 Corinthians 13 Verses 4-7 (NIV)

So, for you to walk in love you should:
- be patient
- be kind
- not envy
- not boast
- not be proud
- not be rude
- not be self-seeking
- not be easily angered
- keep no record of wrongs
- not delight in evil
- rejoice with the truth
- always protect
- always trust
- always hope
- always persevere
Follow this and see how the Lord will manifest in your life! If you should strive for any kind of status in the Lord, let this be the one!
